   The Barzaghi company was founded by joining American technology with the Barzaghi Brothers. The Company has been present in the domestic and international markets since 1924. At its inception, it was called Standard Chemicals Products and later acquired the name of Industria Chimica Barzaghi UFA. For over 75 years the Barzaghi family has remained faithful to the tradition that places them among the leading Italian manufacturers of CarboxyMethylCellulose, and acquiring the experience needed for satisfying at their best market’s requirements.

   Today, the Barzaghi company is located in Arluno (MI), close to the exit of the Milan-Turin expressway, where it owns two industrial sites which jointly occupy a surface of 20,000 sq. mt., of which 7,500 are covered.

   In particular, in Arluno we deploy two separate lines for the manufacturing of carboxymethylcellulose, both equipped with their own control and fine-tuning units, as well as 5 plants for the manufacturing of starches, potato flour, and guar gums based on exclusive and patented formulations. In addition to these historical productions, we offer formulations for the textile industry, liquid soaps, and additives for drilling muds.

   The R& D and Quality Control laboratory is operational within the premises of the company in order to satisfy, in a precise and exclusive manner, the most exacting quality needs from our clients as well as to guarantee, through regular quality checks over all manufacturing lines, the constant compliance to the highest quality standards. Product specialization and technical competence, combined to a high manufacturing flexibility, allow us to offer a tailor-made service based on the specific requirements of customers, as well as to aim at a continuous improvement in a market requiring ever more specific and efficient products.

   Such service oriented approach towards clients has shown to be a winning card in present markets, where multinational competitors, bound to standard production processes, are unable to provide custom-made solutions.
